Departure is a departure. Recommended for people into hearing the early versions, but not really for the typical listener of mine. Written because I felt I wanted to do something different. An arty, heavily effected and nearly electronic album. The weirdo of the bunch! Though I've since moved away from electronic music, the album originally contained the original versions of two of my very favorite songs- Laughing and This is my Year, both born of weirdness, This is my Year is still included. Also, the earliest version of Hope You're Doin' Alright.

I am a solo bassist and sometimes a guitarist who lives in a new city too often to list one. I don't care much about the "music business," but I love to play and, luckily, love to travel, so I frequently tour. I write what I like, listen to what I like.
